My first name, Callan, means “rock” + “bravery.” I was born and raised along the New River in Blowing Rock, North Carolina—a child of the earth, most at home among trees, mountains, water, and sunshine.
Creativity has been a constant in my life. At 15, I dedicated myself to watercolor painting, drawn to architectural portraits of beautiful or abandoned homes, botanicals, and the natural world. Much of my work explores the theme of Home; both in built environments and in nature.
My journey as both an artist and a breathwork guide has been deeply shaped by my epilepsy diagnosis at age 12, when I began experiencing absence seizures—sudden moments of stillness and disconnection. These moments have brought embarrassment and anxiety, but also opened the door to healing. Ultimately, I’m grateful for my seizures. They awakened me to the limitations of pharmaceuticals and continue to guide me toward deep, holistic self-care. Stillness, meditation, and presence have become the foundation of my creative process, lifestyle, and work with others.
At 22, I earned my BFA in Interior Design and then spent six years in corporate architecture (workplace and hospitality) before pursuing my dream of freelancing and creative entrepreneurship. These days, I move between residential design work, creative marketing projects, and sharing my love of art and design through teaching and facilitation. I’ve been holding space for breathwork journeys since 2020 and became trauma-informed certified by Holumina Breathwork in 2023.
I wholeheartedly believe in our intrinsic connection—and that we are all part of a powerful shift on this planet. My mission is to embody joy, and to inspire others toward a more mindful, loving, playful, and creative way of being.
Thank you for being here ♡
